4D cinemas are the latest addition to the film industry. It is a way of involving you not even with images that can not only make you feel the image jumping from the screen, but even making you feel how the scene smells. Moreover, you can feel the chairs vibrating.
With this new technology, a simple take off could be transformed into an almost ''magical'' experience. You would be able to smell the plains fuel burning in the engine, the speed and the shaking of the seats while taking off, the clouds and the birds floating in the sky, the fog and the rain splashing the glass...
Imagine that sensation.
Now that you have imagined the situation, you could be excited about going to a 4D cinema. However, these new technologies are not available for commercial cinemas. In Spain, it is still in project. The creator of this 4D tech is a Korean cinema chain which, after several successes with some well known titles such as Avatar, have opened 3 more 4D cinemas and exported the idea.
This is an excelent thing!! Is impresionant what technologies can do in the cinema. I think that this will revolutionate de world of cinema.

ReplyDeleteI would like to go to those cinemas, however I think that they may be quite expensive. Anyway, in the future they might be more accesible, I mean, they will be cheaper and more affordable.
ReplyDeleteI have gone to one of those cinemas. It was a fantastic experience, I recommended to everyone. It was not so expensive , but it was a short film.
